TotesAmazBags

Hey Everyone

I've been really excited to get this post up for the last couple of days.  I was on twitter looking through my feed and came across a tweet RT by Brian Dowling (big brother host/ultimate house mate) and it was for TotesAmazBags.  Of course I had to look and when I did I instantly fell in love with the quirky, cute style of bags.

I sent Nadine a picture of myself and told her I wanted to be holidng a handbag in my picture.  She sent me a really cute sketch of the drawing that was going to be put onto my bag to see if I liked it.  (Email replies were so quick! Top notch customer service).

A few days later my bag came in the post and I was so excited.  I took it to school straight away.  Everyone was loving it!  Especially me!

My bag is so cute and has little sparkles on it and then I'm wearing a pink dress with a purple handbag which is ace as I have a little pink dress that I thought looked really similar.

Nadine is from Ireland and the jute bags (which is what I have) are 35 euros (about £30ish) but she also does tote bags which are so cute and when pay day comes I may have to purchase for shopping.  They are so cute little cloth bags and you can have them personally designed.  They are 15 euros I think and you can see them on her website *HERE

She also has a section on her website where you can see the bags she has made for her customers so far.  Including my little collage that I made haha!

She has made bags for some celebrity shoppers as well. E.g Brian Dowling (who requested a bigger bow).  Pippa O'Conner, Rebecca Creighton from the X Factor and of course herself.

There is also something coming up that I'm really excited about.  She is going to be making kids Jute bags, that are incredibly cute and PINK!!! My little cousin Caleigh is going to looooooove this as she loves my bag and she wants one of her own but being 5 and carrying a massive jute bag is just not really possible but a mini one is absolutely perfect.
When they come into stock I will be getting my order in quick.

Nadine's Totes Amaz Bags website is: totesamazbag.webs.com
Nadine's Totes Amaz Bags twitter is: @totesamazbags
and you can email her at: totesamazbags@yahoo.ie

Get your orders in guys cus the bags are soooo cute!!

Hope you Enjoyed this post

Lara Croft Tomb Raider look

Hey everyone

I'm so close to leaving school fooorreevverr! But there is one more tradition to go before I leave....muck up day.  This is the day where the 6th years choose a theme dress up and pull pranks on the rest of the school then get drunk together in the park (classy i know).

ANYWAYS the theme this year is heros and villains so I have decided to go as Lara Croft Tomb Raider so this is pictures of my whole look.

There will be videos up on YouTube of my makeup tutorial, hair tutorial and OOTD of my costume.  I need to edit them and then upload which may take longer than I want but with exams and Theory tests coming up I'm really busy with revision.

Ok so my outfit is just a basic black shorts and vest top and then I ordered an accessories pack from ebay that includes a belt, guns and holsters, gloves and dog tags.  I'm finishing my outfit off with a pair of military style boots from primark.

My makeup is a classic brown smokey eye (which I do allll the time) that I did with my heaven and earth pallet and more (tutorial will be up soon) and my hair is just in a long plait.

I'm wearing a 1 piece hair extension weft that I bought for like £5 on ebay and so I've started my plait with a fishtail braid so that my hair blends better into the hair extensions and I think it has worked quite well.

I hope you like my pictures (I'm a poser sorry).

High heel shoe collection

Hey everyone

Today I filmed and am currently uploading my high heel shoe collection video to my YouTube channel so check that out when you get a chance :)

These are all the high heels I own.

I hope you like them :)

The First are a pair of gladiator style shoes from River Island...these were an amazing gift from my boyfriend (at the time) and I absolutely love them and they mean so much to me as they were a total surprise.  I had seen them in heat magazine and showed them to him and then on our 6 month anniversary he pulled these out from under my bed and I just about died from shock and happiness haha!  They are so comfy to wear and the chunky heel makes it easy to walk in all kinds of ground. (Thankyou Tom <3)

The next pair are from new look and I bought them years ago and have worn them heaps. They were probably around £20 and you can get a classic pair of brown heels anywhere.  They have a slight platform that is a wooden style as is the heel.  I wrecked these by getting them caught in a drain in Portugal a couple of years ago so I haven't worn them since :(
These black heels are from new look and I forgot to use them in my video but they are a velvety material and just a classic black heel with a stiletto and mini platform.   They were around £20.
These grey velvet heels are from Matalan and I absolutely love them.  They are really comfortable and easy to walk in.  The little band that goes across the toes makes your painted toe nails stand out if you wear a contrasting colour which is what I always do...like a pink or blue depending on the outfit I am wearing.  They go with basically any colour and are really versatile.

The next shoes I bought at £30 for a Top Hats and Tiara ball in aid of Headway charity (for helping people with brain aneurysm).  They were really comfortable and I managed to dance all night with them on.  The diamanté bar at the front is gorgeous and makes your toe nails stand out.  I had mine in a French manicure style that looked really lady like and pretty.

The next pair of shoes I bought last week and wore them on Saturday night.  They're really comfy and only hurt a little when I walked from tesco to a party but that was quite far and after that it was all fine :) They were £24.99 from new look and are still in the shops if you want to pick them up :)

These really cute boots are from *GARAGE SHOES* and were around £20 they are a khaki/tan colour although you can get them in black.  I love the stud detail around the rim and down the back of the boots.  The semi-chunky heel and low back also attracted me to these.  I wore them to the theatre and they absolutely killed my feet (I was nearly crying) they were too big...but I have put a sole in them now and they are perfect.  I love wearing them with both leggins and jeans and they are perfect for dressing up a casual outfit.

These black high ankle boots are from LoudLook (an ebay shop) and are really comfortable.  I love wearing them with leggings (both leather and normal material).  They were around £15 and are fabulous quality for the price.  I wear them all the time and rank really highly in my shoe collection favourites.

I haven't worn these navy and white striped heels from Primark for £12 yet but I do really love them.  I might have got a bit of a dodgy pair as the right shoe wobbles from side to side but once I get the hang of walking in them I will be wearing them all spring and summer:)
I bought these clogs from New Look last year when everyone was wearing them and they were really highly in fashion for about £25 or something like that.  They are tan and have a chunky heel and a really cute stud detailing complimenting the gold buckle on the side.  They are really comfortable and I loved wearing them with both jeans, leggings and dresses.

These nude chunky, square heeled shoes are also from Garage shoes and were about £20.   I haven't had any where to wear them yet so I need to get them worn and then I can let you know how they felt on :) But so far they feel really comfortable.

These sparkly ones are my ultimate favourite party heels.  They are so comfy because of the large platform and chunky heel and they look absolutely amazing.  They remind me on a silver Dorothy (from the wizard of oz) shoes.  They are amazing and I love them soooooo much!! They were £25 from New Look.

That is all of my high heeled shoes and I hope you enjoyed this post.

I've just been told my video cant save and upload so I'm going to have to fiddle with it again and see when I can get it uploaded.

Favourite Nail Polishes

Hey Everyone

Today I filmed a top 10 favourite nail polish video but I was sitting too far away from the camera and there is 0 volume so I will film it again tomorrow and upload then but in the mean time I thought i'd do a blog post :)

I chose 10 of my favourite nail polishes (with inspiration from dollybowbow to do this) and have organised them into brand.  A lot of my favourites are pinky colours and really girly so if your into blacks and dark colours this will be a little boring for you.

My first two favourite nail polishes are from the nails inc line.  I absolutely love the pigment you get from nails inc polishes.  On the left we have george street and on the right is oxford circus.  I got oxford circus a while ago and it is one of the first nail polishes nails inc took out so is really good quality and if i'm not going crazy with my hands can last me up to 5 days without chipping.  It also dries really quickly and only 2 coats are needed to get the look I want.  I got george street for christmas this year and even though I absolutely love the colour I find that it only lasts a day without chipping.  I had it on my nails on wednesday and on thursday morning I woke up with disgusting chipped nails.  As this is one of nails inc new polishes I am hoping they haven't changed the formula or anything because their long wear was something I was really attracted too and willing to pay the price for.

Anyways here is my favourite nails inc shades and you can buy them *HERE* from the nails inc website.

The next two nail polishes  are long time favourites of mine and are from the No 17 line.  The Lasting fix nail polishes in orange soda and parma violet.  I love both of these colours and I love how long they last.  The parma violet only needs 2 coats but to get a really strong colour out of the orange soda I would usually do 3.  Drying time is quick and I love the brushes that come with them.  You can get them from boots or superdrug or even shopping stores.

The next two nail polishes are recent purchases and one was in a glossybox.  They are from the line orly and both of them are mini tester sizes.  The first is VIP which I bought from *HERE* (cheapsmells.com) and the second is Ruby which came in my glossybox.  The pigment of ruby is amazing and only needs one coat and gives perfect colour and shine.  It dries really quickly and lasts about 2 to 3 days.   VIP is a really cute pink sparkle colour.  I often pair it with other pink nail varnishes like Oxford Circus and Barry M in strawberry (coming up) which gives the simple pink look a glamorous sparkle :)

My next two favourites are Barry M nail paints and they are both from the ice cream line and they are the colours strawberry and peach melba.  They are both quite sheer so do need a fair few coats but the end result is gorgeous.  They look really cute in spring/summer with a tan
(sunkissed bronzing mouse is what I use) and they last quite a while but do need re touched after day 2 if you use your hands a lot.  There isnt much to say other that they are beautiful...I'm sure you've all tried the nail varnishes from Barry M before :)

The last two nail polishes are just two random ones.  The first is Revlon in Tropical Temptation (which looks a little orangey in these pictures but if you check out my video when it is uploaded you will be able to see the colour more clearly.  I love this nail polish and how long it lasts and the shine it gives.  I've got it on my nails at the moment and it is still in perfect condition after wearing it on a night out last night.  The second colour is orange from H&M and I love this nail varnish.  I hardly ever wear it and I don't know why because when I do I absolutely love it and always say I need to wear it more.  It's really pretty and I defo need to pick up some more H&M nail polishes :)

Ok so I hope you enjoyed this blog post and check out the video when I get it uploaded

Madam Rage Dress

Hey everyone

Today in the post came my dress from Madam Rage (affiliate is over there < somewhere I think) and I absolutely love it but neeeeed your help!

On the website the dress looks white and red (even though it actually does say cream and coral I never saw it) and I planned my jacket/shoes on the fact it would be white.

It has arrived and it is actually cream and coral like it does say and now I have nothing to wear on my feet or jacket and was wondering what you guys would pair with this dress.  I am going into town tomorrow to get stuff so your help would be seriously appreciated.

Just comment below and it would be a great help :)

Thanks

Spring Hair Styles

Hey Everyone

I got a lot of requests to do a Spring Hair style tutorial video but I've been having major issues with my hair these days since I got it cut.  I managed to find some old pictures of my own hair and also used my 5 year old cousin as a hair model to show some cute hairstyles that are perfect for spring.

The first hair style that I loved doing when I had long hair was inspired by the beautiful Lana Del Ray and it's this really cute wavy curly hair.  I used my bendy rollers from superdrug to create this look.  I put them in at night and slept and when I woke up this is the way that my hair looked which I thought was amazing.  With a bit of mouse it looked lovely and with some hair spray it stayed in all day :)

Another look that I love to do (and can still do on my short hair) and it actually thins my hair down a little bit because your using bits and then letting some fall.  It is a really cute waterfall style braid over the top of the head.  I used a video by bebexo on youtube to create this style and if you want to see a video on how to do it let me know below.  Its really simple and leaves a cute effect.

Here is a picture of my little cousin with this look on both sides with a cute little flower clip joining the two braids together making her look like a princess :) Sorry its on the side but I cant get it to turn around but you can see what i've done :)

When I had longer hair I loved using my foxylocks hair extensions to lenthen my hair even more and lovvvvedd the way it looked.  But now because my hair is shorter and thicker wearing my extensions is difficult without it looking ridiculous so I have purchased a really thick weft from ebay which ill let you all see when it arrives and I've got high hopes it will help my thick hair issue.  Anyways here is a picture of my reaaaalllyyy long hair with my foxylocks extensions in :)

The next pictures are modelled on my 5 year old cousin who has beautiful blonde long thin hair but a lot of it!! The first is using a doughnut to create a lovely ballerina style hair do and takes about 5 minutes to do and perfect using hair grips.  The second is a really cute lady gaga style bow with a lovely clip at the front of the bow to add a little bit of style.   The third is a really lovely fishtail braid down the back that curves in the way and looks really cute.  Especially on her hair with no layers and how shiny it is makes it looks so cute!!!

I created the same bow with my hair and this is what it looked like.  I also made a bun (without the doughnut) and put a cute little bow clip from New Look in it.  I loved it for summer last year :)

Hope you all enjoyed this post and if you want to see how to do any of these looks let me know :)

Lots of love
