New Room in student housing

Hey Everyone, I'm back

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while.  I've moved to a new city away from all my family and friends and have started college and really settled into 'student life.'  It's be absolutely crazy hectic here and finally I have managed to film a video and upload some pictures of my new room.

When I first moved into my flat things were a little different in my room but I have now put everything in its place (including furniture) and made it my own.

First of all here is my front door and and hall way into my room:
Second here is my bed.  Now before my bed was along the side wall where my clothes rail is and my chest of drawers but I decided I didn't want it there so moved it to under my window.

Just next to my bed is my desk and a little cabinet and another set of drawers.  My shelves and photo board are also here.  I absolutely love my collage of all my friends and family from back home.  My little cousins are so cute!

Next to my bed and mirror is my clothes rail and chest of drawers with clothes in it.  I do have a wardrobe near my bathroom on the wall you cant see next to the front door but it wasn't big enough for all my clothes.

I have forgotten to take a picture of the storage under my bed but it is just 3 large boxes holding all my shoes.  I missed this out of the video aswell but if you would like me to include it in another post about clothes or a video let me know down below or in the comment bit of the video title Room Tour (NEW)

Hope you all are doing well :)
Hope I can find time to post and video more often now that I am settled.

Edinburgh tattoo

Hey everyone

I've just moved into my new flat (post coming soon) so I'm just putting up a post I had previously typed about the Edinburgh Tattoo festival so here it is :)

Hey everyone

Yesterday my mum and I went down to Edinburgh to see the Tattoo festival with my mums work.  We got taken down on a bus and taken back home as well.  The day was really good and luckily sunny.

I took some photos to upload so here they are.

Firstly here is my and my mum on the bus :)

This is out the window when we were crossing the bridge heading to Edinburgh.  I think it is the 4th road or fourth or something like that.

These are photos from the Edinburgh Tattoo where many military specialists played the bagpipes and brass bands played along to Scottish dancers and other really exciting things.  Also a few fireworks were set off but as it was quite light they were difficult to photograph but I've included one to let you see :)

Finally this is a picture of 'The Horn' if you've travelled Scotland and stopped here before you will know you get theee best bacon roll here ever!  It is amazing and leaves you extremely thirsty for the rest of the day.

I will do a new flat video and post asap.  Im just getting everything sorted so far so bare with me :)

Lots of love

Nightouts

Hey Everyone

Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been so busy with work, making a holiday dvd and getting all my stuff together for moving for college.

Last week we all in Scotland got our exam results and also it was my friends birthday so I went out for a meal with his family and then out on the Wednesday night in town for his birthday/exam celebration.

I went and got my nails done at Hollywood Nails in the market where I stay.  I got acrylic clear tips with the white airbrushed on and a cute flower design painted on the 4th (ring) finger.

After getting my nails done I hit the shops (not in need but in want) of a new outfit.  I went to newlook as I had a voucher so I picked up a ring, necklace and 2 pairs of earrings.  This is the spiked ring that I wore on my night out in town.  You will see the other pieces featured in my photos except one pair of earrings that I haven't photographed but they are shown in my Youtube Video *HERE*

For the meal with my friends family I wore this River Island mint green dress that I picked up in the sale (in the size too small) for £20 instead of £60.  I wore it with a black blazer (which meant I could unzip the dress while I was eating) but it looked really nice on and I wore black tights and flat shoes with it to dress it down :)

On my second night out in town I wore a silky kind of material black floaty vest top  tucked into a cream and gold lacey high waisted skirt again from the River Island sale.  I'm not 100% sure of the original price but I got it for £10.  I saw a skirt on one of my favourite blogs by Rachel Nicole *HERE* which got me looking in the sale.  I'm not sure if it is still online but mine is a size 8 and fits almost it is slightly big (im usually a 10).

I wore a teeth shape topshop gold necklace that you can kind of see but again was show in my Youtube video.  I wore 2 bracelets one from asos (about 2 years ago) and one that came in a set in New Look.
I also wore some gold and black earrings with spikes and crosses that went with my ring again both from new look.

On the night out I wore my hair in a high bun like below with my naked pallete colours virgin sin and toasted on my eyes :)

I had a really good time on my nights out and hopefully will have more coming up in the future to let you guys see my outfits.

Lots of love

Vivo tesco makeup haul

Hey guys

I went to Tesco in the UK (sorry if your in the US or anywhere other than the UK) and I picked up a couple of things from their new line Vivo.

I've been really impressed so far with the things that I bought. I went in a couple of weeks ago and picked up this brow and eye kit.  I love it! I have used it every day since I got it.

I use the darkest shade and the little brush that comes with it to fill in my brows.  I then use the mini clear brow gel to make sure that they stay in place all day and they actually do its amazing!  They don't budge at all.

The next thing that I bought 2 weeks ago was this mascara which I love so much that I picked up another tube the other day.

Its curved brush and the formula is perfect for me. I curl my lashes with an amazing curler that I will show you in my She said beauty box post when it comes to the time but this mascara keeps my curl in place all day so I never have to re-curl them which I love because when I'm at work I cant be doing that every 5 minutes.  The formula is fantastic.  It doesn't clump my lashes together and never flakes.

So on my second trip to Tesco the other day I picked up some new items to try.  I picked up this baked blusher and bronzer.  They are both really pigmented and amazing for putting colour on your face

The next thing I thought i'd have to try just because every girl needs a lipstick from a collection is this gorgeous pink lipstick with gold undertones which makes it very shimmery.  The colour is pink pout and I absolutely love it.  Its very pigmented and moisturising although I do feel my lips getting slightly dry after a while but if you put a lip balm or gloss over the top that would cure that.
The next thing is something I'm glad I bought but I dont think I would repurchase just because it's a little bit to pink for my face.

The next thing I had to try but haven't fully enjoyed using to be honest is the matifying loose powder (because of the mess) again because of the mess the radiant boost highlighter.  There is literally no way to use the powder without creating an all mighty mess around your makeup area your clothes everything! Its horrendous but fair play once it is on your skin then it really does work but it isnt work the mess when a pressed one does the job.  The highlighter is good but messy due to the click to get the product out design and is also slightly too pink for my skin tone... I could use this as a light pink blush on my cheeks instead if it wasnt so shimmery.

The final thing isnt make up but just something I wanted to get and try and I absolutely love it!  I bought a new tanning mit just because mine was getting old and torn but the ambre solaire face tanning mist is amazing.  It darkens over 3 hours underneath your makeup making it look really natural.  It also doesnt smell and is so easy to apply...it does go on a little wet but dries within a few seconds.  I love this! and it really does add that perfect amount of colour to my face that lasts all day! and for the next few days until i do a proper exfoliation and cleanse on my face.

So that is everything i picked up from tesco and i love it all...check out my video on it to hear my ramble about the these products.  Most of the info is here as with swatches.

Lots of love

New York Makeup Haul

Hi guys

I'm just back from my holiday in New York and Disney world Florida.

I bought quite a lot of makeup and clothes but will do the hauls separately.

You can watch my video on these products but this is where you will get better pictures and more information :) so I hope you enjoy and hope you like the makeup/beauty products that I bought.

Okay so the first thing that I bought was an eos lip balm (don't have a photo on here) you can check out YouTube to find out more about that but basically it is a really lovely smelling lip balm that you can get in the USA from wallgreens/cvs and basically anywhere.  I love it and love the packaging its so weird it looks like an egg.  I'm sure you will all have seen them before :)

The second thing that I bought was a new Strawberry Shortcake Revlon lip butter for $5.99 which is like £3.  this is amazing because you guys know that they cost up to £8 here in the UK.

I then made a cheeky trip to the mac store on times sqaure (which was absolutely amazing by the way) and had my makeup done by a professional in the store.  I picked up the mineralize foundation and concealer in NC15 and also the absolutely lovely tinted lip conditioner in the colour fushia fix.  Its my new fix!  These products are lovely and in america they are the same price in Dollars as in Pounds which is absolutely amazing!!

The next product I had to pick up was the Maybelline dream bounce blush and it is soooo funny!  The packaging is so cute and bouncy and weird to touch but i absolutely love touching it.  Its like an obsession now!  I heard about this product from Theresa Huaroto's youtube channel (who i love) and you can see that video *HERE* where she talks about the product and her views and mine are basically the same but I have found a good way to apply the blusher to get maximum pigment which you can see on my video :)

The three nail polishes that I bought I have been absolutely loving and these are better quality views of the colours than on the video but the first is Colour Sensations neon purple nail enamel and its in the colour dream on and I absolutely love it!  Its so vibrant and neon.
Plumberry and Nothing else metals are both essie polishes and as you will know they are fantastic and beautiful colours!

Finally the last and probably my ultimate favourite product is the Naked Pallet from Urban decay.  I love all the colours and I know im slightly behind as the Naked 2 pallet is out already but I do prefer the colours in the 1st edition so had to pick it up.  I have shown the colours in the video but i am going to be doing a separate post on it alone with each colour and feature it in tutorials also :)

Bling bling Art phone case

Hey everyone

Haven't posted in a while but I've been saving up for this post here.  I'm really excited to show you my new love!!!

If you watch my YouTube videos you will know that I got a new Iphone 4s and i've been filming my videos on it.  Well of course I needed a case for it.  My cousin had bought a case from a website so I thought I would check it out for myself and see what I liked.  In instantly fell in love.
The website is Bling Bling Art and the case that I very kindly received was the  pink bow on pearl effect case (HERE)

They have given me a code for my subscribers/viewers to use at checkout when you spend over £14.99 on their website for 20% off
The code is '101SB' and the details of how you can use it will be at the bottom :)

My case is absolutely gorgeous.  It came packaged up in bubble wrap with some extra pearls and glue so that if anything was to happen I could glue some back on but I have to say, I really dont think anything will as I've used it every day (in my bag and out) and also on a night out getting chucked around and it is still in complete perfect condition.  All of my friends have said how 'me' it is and i'm sure its every girl who loves a bit of glamour and glitter.
I have been in contact with Phu from Bling Bling Art and asked a few questions to let you guys know more about the company and also how they make the cases.
Bling Bling art have been a company for more that 7 years but were mainly to do with nail art but when their baby came along Phu's wife decided to move onto phone cases as this meant she could work from home and look after her Princess :) They did some research into the phone case market and purchased some of their own and were disappointed.  This flared the idea of affordable good quality, handmade cases blinged in the UK.  They use high quality diamante simulant made from glass or acrylic but can also use Swarovski if requested.
All of the cases are handmade and can take up to 10 hours depending on the complexity of the design.  For the case I had made It takes about 6 hours to complete and has to be done in a series of stages. The pink bow has to be glued on with really sturdy glue and then the cyrstals onto it then the pearls onto the case and dried.

Bling Bling Art try to cater for all tastes with designs from Hello Kitty, sea life, insect, animal, romantic, 4 seasons, cartoon characters and abstract.  There is no limit. They just always keep 4 words in mind.  Affordable, durable, practical and beautiful - and that they are!!!

Bling Bling Art's personal top 3 favourite cases are the

1) Crystals 3D Bling Bow - HERE

2) Vivienne Westwood - HERE

3) 8 Daisies Bling Iphone - HERE

I absolutely love my case and you guys defo have to check out the website...the have some amazing things on there...especially the big bows!! there so cute!!

Lots of love
